We are seeking an experienced Craft CMS Developer to assist in website updates and customizations for the next 3-6months. Hours will vary, but will not be substantial. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and update our existing Craft CMS website theme, ensuring it remains up-to-date, secure, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Craft CMS, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles. Responsibilities: -Maintain and update the existing Craft CMS website theme to ensure it remains current and compatible with the latest version of Craft CMS. -Implement design changes and enhancements to the website theme based on client requirements and feedback. -Ensure the website theme adheres to best practices for performance, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO). -Form troubleshooting at times for deliverability. As needed basis. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues or bugs that arise with the website theme or functionality. -Develop and implement custom modules, plugins, or extensions as requested to enhance the website's functionality. -Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance before deploying any updates or changes to the live website. -Stay up-to-date with the latest Craft CMS developments, updates, and best practices. Qualifications: -Proven experience with Craft CMS development and customization. -Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles. -Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. -Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices. -Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. -Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with other content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) is a plus. -Knowledge of server-side scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Node.js) is advantageous. -Familiarity with front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular). -Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
