We are seeking a qualified civil engineer to assist in the site design of a small commercial project located in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate should have experience in site planning, grading, drainage design, and familiarity with local zoning laws. You will be responsible for developing design plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Scope of Work Includes • Site layout and grading plan • Stormwater management and erosion control (if required) • Utility service coordination and layout (water, sewer, electric) • Surface parking design (including ADA compliance and striping) • Coordination with Baltimore City zoning and permitting requirements • Preparation of drawings and documentation for permit submission • Revisions as required by permit review comments • Digital and signed/sealed final drawings for permit Deliverables • Civil site plan package suitable for permit submission • Cover sheets & General notes • Demolition plan • Site plan, Site details • Grading Plan • Stormwater management plan, details and notes. • Utility plan • Erosion, sediment and control plan • Revisions to plans per agency comments • Signed and sealed drawings (Maryland-licensed civil engineer) Qualifications • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland • Experience with small commercial projects in Maryland • Familiarity with Baltimore City site plan submission and zoning • Ability to work with architect and other consultants remotely Project Timeline We are looking to engage a professional immediately, with an initial plan submission targeted within 3–4 weeks.
