Convert PNG Image into a Font Glyph (TTF/OTF Format)

I have a PNG image that I would like to convert into a font glyph. Scope of Work: • Convert the PNG into an SVG (vector graphic) if necessary. • Insert it into a Unicode Private Use Area (PUA) code point (e.g., U+E001 or similar). • Deliver a working, installable font file (TTF or OTF format). Requirements: • The graphic should scale properly at different font sizes. • Maintain transparency or background-free design if possible. • Center and scale the glyph correctly between the baseline and cap height lines. Deliverables: • The completed TTF or OTF font file. • (Optional but preferred) the vectorized SVG file used for the glyph. Additional Info: • The PNG is clean/simple. • I only need one glyph added, not a full font family. • Please include a sample screenshot or proof that the font renders properly. I would like the glyph mapped to the letter "X" (or specify your letter), instead of needing to use Unicode input.
