We’re looking for a temporary Workplace Specialist to support our Palo Alto headquarters, ensuring it is efficient, welcoming, and aligned with our remote-first culture. This is an in-person role based out of our Palo Alto, CA headquarters. Applicants must be able to work onsite 5 days/week from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily workplace operations at our Palo Alto office location, ensuring smooth functionality, safety, and positive visitor experience - Coordinate and support projects related to facilities, maintenance, and workplace improvements for the Palo Alto site - Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service, timely issue resolution, and compliance with policies - Track and report key workplace metrics, including space utilization, service levels, and budget adherence, to drive data-informed improvements - Respond to and resolve facilities-related inquiries, partnering with IT, People, and Security teams to ensure team member needs are met quickly and effectively - Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, supporting audits and workplace readiness plans as needed What it takes to catch our eye: - Demonstrated experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or a related function, ideally in a tech workplace environment - Proven ability to resolve operational issues independently and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight - Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset and commitment to inclusive, welcoming environments - Comfort using tools and systems to track space usage, coordinate vendor activities, or report workplace metrics
