We are looking for a skilled video editor to help repurpose long-format raw customer interview content into engaging short-form video customer case study content for marketing and social media. Our company, Zype, is a leading SaaS video platform, and we want to showcase our customers' success stories in a way that is visually compelling, concise, and optimized for multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has experience editing corporate or B2B content, crafting clear narratives, and optimizing videos for LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and other social media channels. Key Responsibilities: EDITING & STORYTELLING - Transform long-form, raw footage of customer interviews into a ~2 min case study and multiple short clips highlighting key takeaways, testimonials, and insights. - Structure videos with engaging intros, smooth transitions, and clear calls to action. - Enhance the story with relevant B-roll, motion graphics, and text overlays. Potentially incorporating Zype product footage from Product team. BRANDING & GRAPHICS - Incorporate Zype's branding elements (logos, colors, fonts) to maintain a cohesive look. - Add graphics, animated text, captions, and callouts to reinforce key points. SOCIAL MEDIA OPTIMIZATION - Edit videos for various aspect ratios (16:9 for YouTube, 1:1 for LinkedIn, 9:16 for Instagram/TikTok). - Ensure high engagement factors—dynamic cuts, punchy pacing, and attention-grabbing hooks. - Optimize file formats, resolutions, and thumbnails for each platform. REVIEW & REVISIONS - Work with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with messaging and objectives. - Iterate based on feedback and refine edits for the best impact. REQUIREMENTS -Proven experience editing corporate, SaaS, or B2B videos, ideally customer success stories or testimonials. -Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools. -Strong storytelling skills—ability to distill complex messages into short, engaging content. -Knowledge of motion graphics, text animations, and social media video trends. -Ability to meet deadlines, take feedback, and iterate quickly. -Familiarity with social media best practices for video content distribution. PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE) - Experience working with SaaS or technology companies. - Knowledge of audio enhancement (removing background noise, improving clarity). - Understanding of conversion-driven video strategies (what makes people engage & take action). - Basic understanding of SEO for video content (keywords, descriptions, and metadata for YouTube). DELIVERABLES - 2 final polished case study videos with branding, captions, and engaging visuals (Estimate ~2 min or less, depending on footage chosen) - 3-5 short clips per case study (each optimized for different platforms). (Estimate ~30s snippets) - Thumbnails and video preview assets for social media promotion. PROJECT TIMELINE & SCOPE -initial batch of 2 customer interviews to edit into case study content. -Opportunity for ongoing work with additional video needs for social media. Expected 5-10 edited clips per month.
