Overview Gold Medal Squared is on a mission to elevate volleyball coaching and athlete development across the country. We are looking for a forward-thinking, high-performing individual to join our team and help us grow our impact in the volleyball community. Our work empowers coaches and athletes through world-class camps, clinics, and online training programs. We’re seeking a results-driven Email Marketing Manager who can turn data into action — someone who can craft and execute high-impact, personalized email campaigns that drive registration, increase engagement, and grow revenue. This role will play a key part in delivering measurable, scalable storytelling that deepens relationships with coaches, athletes, and parents while supporting the growth of our training programs, products, and events. Responsibilities Email Strategy & Execution - Develop and execute email marketing campaigns focused on driving community registrations, coaching clinic ticket sales, camp sales, promotions, and community engagement. - Manage the email calendar, ensuring all campaigns are aligned with GMS initiatives, clinic & camp schedules, and major industry events. - Oversee automated email workflows, including but not limited to, welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, Know Before You Go, post-event follow-ups, and long-term nurture campaigns. - Implement personalized and dynamic content strategies to increase open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Performance Monitoring & Optimization - Track email KPIs, including open rates, CTRs, conversion rates, and revenue attribution. - Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, CTAs, content formats, and send times to optimize engagement. - Analyze community behavior and segmentation data to improve targeting and messaging effectiveness. Segmentation & Audience Development - Build and refine community segmentation strategies, ensuring the right messages reach the right audience. - Leverage ticketing, merchandise, and engagement data to create targeted campaigns for different community groups. - Develop loyalty and re-engagement campaigns for season ticket members, lapsed buyers, and first-time attendees. Cross-Team Collaboration & Growth Strategy - Work closely with clinic staff, camp staff, partnerships, and merchandise teams to align email campaigns with revenue goals. - Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure brand consistency across email marketing. - Stay ahead of industry trends, new email technologies, and best practices to enhance community engagement and revenue growth. Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or digital engagement. - Proficiency in email marketing platforms, specifically with Brevo, Hubspot, and/or Marketo - Strong analytical skills with experience tracking email performance and revenue attribution. - Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus Join us in shaping the future of volleyball coaching.
