We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced virtual assistant to join our team and also double as my personal assistant. The biggest thing we are looking for is a hard and honest worker, we can train you on the rest. Our business is creating Udemy/similar online courses focused in the IT, project management, and cyber security niches. This position requires: - Ability to follow instructions, processes, and systems and work both very quickly and effectively with minimal mistakes - Ability to think for yourself, with a high level of executive thinking, and being able to apply and execute on that QUICKLY without unnecessarily overcomplicating things - Very comfortable in a high-stress and high productivity environment - Extreme attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Able to understand tasks effectively, handle them as needed, and see them to on-time completion. - Able to follow strict communication standards. - Assume full responsibility AND ownership for the planning, execution, and completion of assigned tasks, ensuring they align with our business strategy. - A burning desire to learn, and action on things quickly and effectively. If you can't handle tasks on your own and also bring improvements to them, this role won't be for you. - At least 6 months of EXCELLENT virtual assistant experience with at least (2) references This position will be eligible for benefits such as paid time off, bonuses, and profit sharing after the first 3 months of work, and is intended to be a long term position for potentially the next 1-5 years! Must have availability between 9 AM CST to 3 PM CST Monday thru Friday (non-negotiable but we can discuss hours if needed). This position will be as needed, so won't be those full hours during the first few months, likely 5-10 hours per week starting out. There is an expectation to be very quickly available during the times listed above and responsive, but we can establish a more stable time once an offer is extended. Your job duties will be assisting with: - Helping on every aspect of building out our course business, from using Canva for graphic design, to data entry, to research, and more. - Personal Branding / LinkedIn / SEO / Online Personal Reputation/Branding. - Working within Asana or other project management/tools in order to manage, track and complete your own tasks by assigned due dates. - Working on both personal and business LinkedIn/Instagram/WordPress website/Online Platforms - Research on various companies/etc - A lot of cold outreach through messages, emails, texts, potentially calls thru Google Voice as well - Completing a variety of daily, weekly, monthly and as needed tasks - Assisting with any other tasks as needed. Bonus points if you don't use ChatGPT to write your proposal, and you mention why you'd be a good fit for this position specifically, and you put the word “elephant” in your proposal so we know you read the whole post ;) If you can also give an example of when you were a virtual assistant and how you helped out beyond just repetitive tasks that would be perfect. We also operate on the principle that bonuses should be the incentive - while we offer an hourly rate, the idea is to get you working on tasks and improving things to the point where bonuses are heavily outweighing your hourly rate, resulting in a very good overall salary.
