We are seeking a talented Web Designer with strong WordPress experience to help evolve the design of an existing website. The goal is to make the site more dynamic, engaging, and user-friendly while maintaining brand integrity and visual sophistication. Key Responsibilities: - Review the current site design and UX flow to identify improvement opportunities - Propose design updates that enhance user engagement, readability, and visual appeal - Implement changes using WordPress (block editor or page builder as applicable) - Create new layouts, refine existing pages, and improve mobile responsiveness - Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, and brand elements - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate feedback efficiently - Optimize for performance and SEO best practices Requirements: - Proven experience designing websites in WordPress - Strong eye for layout, typography, spacing, and UX/UI best practices - Ability to modernize a site without losing its core brand identity - Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools - Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility - Ability to deliver clean, well-organized design files and documentation - Excellent communication skills and ability to provide design rationale Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with high-end or B2B brands - Familiarity with optimizing pages for speed and accessibility - Light front-end development knowledge (HTML/CSS) is a plus Project Scope: This is a short-term contract with potential for ongoing work. The initial focus will be on revamping 4–5 key pages to set a visual and UX direction for the rest of the site. Please include samples of previous WordPress design work in your application.
