We're looking for an experienced SEO specialist to lead a 45-day, full-service SEO engagement for a new website launch. The client is a custom apparel company, and the site is being rebuilt by a professional design team (launching in ~2 weeks). Your role will be to own the SEO strategy and execution from start to finish, including: 1. Comprehensive keyword research 2. On-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking) 3. Technical SEO (site indexing, crawlability, speed recommendations, schema, etc.) 4. Blog content strategy and SEO-driven topic planning 5. Competitor and gap analysis 6. Baseline and final performance reporting 7. Backlink and off-page SEO strategy (light, not outreach-heavy) You’ll be collaborating with our internal team for guidance and approvals, but you’ll be expected to handle the work independently and on schedule. You will be presenting your findings to us after each large part is finished, then rewrite all of the content on the site as necessary. We will also look for you to guidance on how to best attack this project. Ideally ti will start with comprehensive keyword research and a report on that (including competitor research), followed by technical SEO fixes, then Content SEO fixes. After each part is completed you will present your findings to us. We will need to agree on an official scope Project Timeline: - Estimated start: ~2 weeks (when new site launches) - Duration: 45 days - Potential for ongoing monthly maintenance afterward Ideal Candidate: - Proven track record with full-site SEO projects (bonus if e-commerce or service-based) - Experience with technical SEO and keyword strategy - Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console - Strong communicator with attention to deadlines and documentation - Comfortable working behind the scenes with clear direction To Apply, Please include: - A brief note explaining your approach to full-site SEO; We need a scope of work from you so that it is totally clear on what will be done. - 2 examples of SEO projects you've led (before/after snapshots or strategy outlines ideal) - Your availability and rate for a 45-day project.
