Our catalog includes thousands of LED solutions— Miniature & Intermediate Based Bulbs, Panel Indicators, Indoor & Outdoor lighting, and more—serving markets such as Industrial Controls, Defense & Aerospace, Power Plants & Utilities, Transportation, and more. The Challenge: For our first two decades, we dominated the LED space with little competition. But after the LED market exploded, aggressive competition and a lack of sustained marketing effort have left us under the radar—even among longtime customers. We need to change that. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a short-term Marketing Advisor (1 to 3 months max) with deep B2B experience—ideally in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing sectors—to help us realign our marketing strategy to effectively reach our customer base. Your Role: • Research & Discovery: o Learn about our business, customers, solutions, and history. o Interview key internal staff to understand strengths, challenges, and market perception. o Evaluate our current positioning, brand presence, and competitor landscape. • Strategy Development: o Develop a custom multi-pronged marketing strategy, both short-term and long-term. o Recommend the channels, messages, and campaigns that will best reach and re-engage our target B2B customers. o Identify what to prioritize, avoid, and optimize—with clarity and rationale. • Action Plan Delivery: o Provide a clear, practical roadmap for execution—marketing calendar, campaign ideas, content strategy, etc. o Advise on budget allocation and expected ROI across proposed efforts. NOTE: We are looking for an advisor to provide us with a strategy and plan on what to do. We will generate the content, execute it and carry it out ourselves.
