Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Contractor to help establish and manage an HR department from the ground up for our startup company. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, policies, and regulations, and will be capable of developing and implementing effective HR strategies tailored to our organization’s unique needs. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Strategy Development: - Create an HR strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and vision. - Develop policies and procedures that support a healthy workplace culture and ensure compliance with labor laws. 2. Recruitment and Onboarding: - Design and implement a recruitment process to attract and hire top talent. - Create job descriptions, post job listings, and optimize recruitment platforms. - Develop an onboarding program to integrate new hires into the company seamlessly. 3. Employee Engagement and Culture: - Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and retention. - Implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, feedback, and development. 4. Performance Management: - Create a performance management system that includes goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans. - Provide training to managers on effective performance management practices. 5. HR Administration: - Establish HR administrative processes for employee records management, payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting. - Maintain employee database and ensure all HR records are up to date and compliant with applicable laws. 6. Training and Development: - Assess training needs within the organization and develop a training program to enhance employee skills and capabilities. - Offer guidance on career development opportunities for employees. 7. Compliance and Risk Management: - Ensure that the startup complies with all relevant employment laws and regulations. - Develop and implement risk management protocols related to HR practices. Requirements: - Proven experience as an HR professional, preferably in a startup environment. - Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes, regulations, and best practices. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to develop clear and actionable HR policies and procedures. - Experience in recruitment, performance management, training, and employee relations.
