We’re launching FishingGear.com—an ambitious, content-driven site that aims to dominate the fishing gear niche with best-in-class blog posts, guides, and product reviews. We need an experienced WordPress designer/developer who can take our detailed brand, structure, and tech stack—already mapped out—and quickly bring the site to life with pixel-perfect implementation and high performance in mind. This is NOT a drag-and-drop job. We’re looking for someone who knows how to build clean, scalable, and lightweight sites using Astra Pro + Elementor Pro, a child theme, and a stack of performance/security plugins. You’ll be handed guidance and sites to mimic, brand assets, and a full tech doc that outlines what we want—now we need someone fast and detail-obsessed to build it right the first time. You will build: 1) homepage, 2) header and footer templates in Elementor Theme Builder (ETB), 3) Single Page template in ETB, 4) Single Post in ETB, 5) Blog Archive page template in ETB, 6) Search Results page in ETB, 7) Loop Item in ETB, 8) 404 Page in ETB, and other customizations and optimizations in Elementor Pro and/or Astra Pro and its Child Theme. We don't and won't have design files other than the brand kit (logo, colors, typography). I will walk you through the page designs in real time. It's a simple design and I have a site (not in our industry) that we can mimic. Your mission: Launch FishingGear.com quickly and cleanly (before May 31st. If you cannot meet this deadline, then please don't apply.) Build key templates in the Elementor Theme Builder: homepage, blog archive, single post, footer/header, and category pages Implement schema and SEO markup with AIO SEO Optimize page speed and responsiveness Set up Google Analytics, Search Console, and basic tracking Ensure everything is mobile-friendly, secure, and easy to update by our content team We’re a no-fluff, get-it-done crew. If you’ve built high-performing content sites before and want to work with a team that moves fast and pays well for quality work, we want to hear from you. We have the bones of Wordpress (hosting, Themes, requisite plugins, security, etc.) setup already. We have content being created. This site must be blazing fast on mobile and desktop. We already have WP Rocket installed and optimized along with CDN from Cloudflare. As you build the site, speed is of the utmost importance. Please submit your proposal to include: 1) estimated time to complete with the assumption we respond lightning fast, 2) estimated cost to complete and 3) any questions or needs you have for us.
