About R.A.D. Camps R.A.D. Camps is an adventure-based day-camp program in Bend, Oregon serving kids ages 4-17. Our brand stands for “Rad Adventures Daily,” and every summer we introduce hundreds of young explorers to mountain biking, hiking, paddling, and outdoor skills. We rely heavily on visual storytelling—nothing sells a camp like a smiling camper on top of a volcano or paddling a high-alpine lake. After a quiet winter season our social channels need fresh energy to fill remaining spots for summer 2025. Project Goal Re-ignite our Instagram and Facebook presence so that parents in Central Oregon (and adventure-minded families beyond) discover, follow, and ultimately register for camp sessions running May 20 – Aug 31, 2025. Success will be measured by follower growth, engagement rate, link clicks to our Squarespace site, and most importantly completed registrations attributed to social traffic. What You’ll Do Audit & Strategy – Review existing assets, hashtags, competitor activity, and past ad performance; deliver a concise 90-day roadmap that aligns content pillars (kids, nature, skills, community) with weekly themes and registration pushes. Content Production – Create and schedule a steady mix of Reels, carousel posts, single-image posts, and Stories (roughly 3–5 pieces per week). We supply a deep library of photos and GoPro footage; you supply editing flair, captions, and strategic timing. Paid Social – Set up and manage small-budget Meta ad campaigns (traffic and engagement objectives) aimed at parents ages 28-50 within a 120-mile radius of Bend. Optimize creative, copy, and audience segments to improve cost-per-result. Community Management – Reply to comments and DMs daily, moderate user-generated tags, and spark conversations that show parents we’re responsive and safety-minded. Reporting & Insights – Provide a simple dashboard (Google Sheets/Data Studio is fine) tracking weekly KPIs plus a brief monthly narrative: what worked, what didn’t, and the next experiments. Collaboration – Join a standing 15-minute check-in call each week with our director (Chance) to review wins and adjust priorities. Slack or email for day-to-day. Ideal Candidate 3+ years managing Instagram + Facebook for small-to-mid-size consumer brands, ideally family or outdoor niches. Proven growth case studies (before/after metrics). Skilled in Meta Business Suite/Ads Manager, Reel editing, Canva or Adobe Express, and basic UGC curation/legal usage. Strong, upbeat copywriting that speaks to both kids’ excitement and parents’ trust. Comfortable juggling strategy and hands-on execution within a 5-10 hr/week envelope. Bonus points for Central Oregon knowledge, ACA camp marketing experience, or past roles in education/outdoor recreation. Contract Details Timeline: Kickoff audit within one week of hire; project runs through August 31 with possible fall extension. Workload: ~5–10 hours per week, flexible schedule as long as deliverables land on time. Compensation: Fixed-price milestones totaling US $1,800-$3,500 preferred; hourly proposals around $25-$50/hr considered if you outline expected hours. Ownership: All final content, ads, and reports become property of R.A.D. Camps. You may showcase results in your portfolio after the season.
