We're looking for writers/researchers for a top newsletter focused on legal topics. Specifically we're seeking: - Speed - Impeccable, lively prose - Regular availability every week - Law school grads or current law students strongly preferred - Ability to decipher complex legal topics and to make them accessible to anyone - Preference for past work writing for broad general audiences in news and commentary - Bonus points if you have a passion for consumer protection, constitutional law, or the intersection of law and politics To be clear, this is *not* for SEO-focused blog writing but for a highly popular newsletter, aimed at a general news-reading audience, working directly with our chief creator. Ideally we're looking for 1-2 people for whom this could be a regular weekly gig, researching and drafting 1-4 articles per week, each 600-900 words. Please be ready with writing samples and/or links to your past work. No academic or law firm writing samples, please.
