Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Legal Copywriter & Editor to develop and refine white papers and related materials that support our tax programs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional legal writing skills, a strong grasp of tax law concepts, and the ability to turn complex topics into engaging, reader-friendly content. Key Responsibilities: Write and edit white papers, client guides, and thought leadership materials on tax planning and legal strategies Translate complex tax law concepts into engaging, accessible content without sacrificing accuracy Work closely with our legal and tax professionals to ensure all content is technically sound and legally compliant Maintain the firm’s brand voice and tone while ensuring clarity and authority in legal writing Edit and proofread documents for grammar, structure, consistency, and legal accuracy Stay current on legal trends and updates in tax law, incorporating relevant insights into written materials Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Taxation, Journalism, or a related field (JD preferred but not required) 3+ years of professional legal writing and/or editing experience (experience in tax law is a strong plus) Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and engaging legal content Meticulous attention to detail and a strong command of legal language and grammar Ability to work independently and manage multiple writing assignments with varying deadlines Familiarity with compliance standards and legal marketing best practices Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a legal, tax, or financial services environment Familiarity with SEO, white paper design best practices, and web-based publishing tools Portfolio of published legal content, white papers, or long-form content (please include with application)
