Publicist Wanted to Help Build Buzz for a Growing Brand Hi there! I’m looking for a publicist to help me grow visibility for a new fintech brand (focused on women entrepreneurs) and also help boost my personal brand as a thought leader in finance, tech, and entrepreneurship. Here’s what I need help with: • Getting media coverage — national, regional, podcasts, business magazines, etc. • Writing press releases, media pitches, and bios that feel fresh, not stiff. • Pitching me (and the brand) for interviews, features, panels, podcasts, and more. • Building relationships with journalists and media contacts that fit our vibe. • Keeping track of what’s working and reporting back regularly. • Helping plan some big announcements and milestones (like our app launch!). The perfect fit for this role: • You’ve got 3+ years of experience doing PR, especially for startups, tech, beauty, or mission-driven brands. • You know how to actually get people’s attention — not just send a million cold emails. • You’re a great writer who can capture a brand’s voice without sounding robotic. • You’re organized, independent, and good at keeping momentum going. • You love working with brands that empower women and create real impact. Bonus points if: • You already have media contacts in business, finance, beauty, entrepreneurship, or tech spaces. • You’re familiar with Chicago and Orlando markets (but not required). • You’ve worked with a fintech or femtech company before. What I’m expecting: • Build a media list • Send 2–4 strategic pitches a month • Land at least 2 solid features or interviews every quarter • Keep me updated on progress monthly Interested?
