I have a weekly newsletter (Which ships each Sunday morning) for an alternative investment platform that specializes in collectibles and rare assets things like dinosaurs fossils, classic cars, rare wine and watches, and even intangible assets like domain names. The goal of this weekly newsletter is two fold: 1) to briefly highlight news around the space (4-7 interesting points or news items around the market - anything from big auction results to global cultural news blurbs that would be of interest to our userbase) 2) to tell a longer form story that our userbase may not know that has a more direct connection to a category, assets or theme of the platform (which is rooted in alternative assets and non-obvious investments — but always with an eye on popular culture as a driver of interest). The entire newsletter is typically 1500 words give or take. I’ve been doing it in-house for 2 years, but I’d love to find someone who has an interest in this space that can add a new voice for our 200K+ subscribers. This job posting would be for 1 to 2 issues before committing to a longer term role owning it on a weekly basis. Would be best if you have experience delivering on an episodic or weekly newsletter in the past.
