We’re looking for a sharp, resourceful Marketing Project/Program Manager (freelance/contract to start) who can help us build and execute high-impact marketing projects from the ground up, starting with the launch of our new podcast. The ideal candidate is: -Meticulous and hyper-organized -Pushy in the best way. Doesn’t take “no” for an answer and knocks down barriers -Comfortable switching between high-level strategy and hands-on execution -Confident leading, producing, coaching, and making smart calls with limited oversight This is a hands-on, strategic role: you’ll work directly with our executive team to define project goals, map end-to-end timelines, identify needed tools/talent, and execute or manage deliverables. If the first project goes well, we’re open to expanding your scope to additional initiatives across marketing, content, and digital. Potential Projects You Could Own We don’t expect you to do everything at once. The first project will be just one of these, but we want someone with range who can grow with us. -Podcast strategy & launch: Concept, format, tool stack, guest outreach, publishing pipeline -Newsletter launch: Define cadence, build templates, initial content roadmap -Website redesign: Coordinate design, dev, SEO, and stakeholder input -SEO strategy & implementation: Keyword targeting, content optimization, tools like GA4/GSC/Surfer -Advertising strategy & execution: Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta -Content calendar & production: Manage ongoing strategy & creation of social posts, blogs, short videos, thought leadership -ABM campaigns: Segment accounts, coordinate messaging and nurture flows -ESG dashboard rollout: Coordinate cross-functional deliverables, marketing integration The First Project: Podcast Launch To start, we’d like you to build a full strategy and timeline for launching our company podcast, including (really looking to you to put together a thorough plan, lead the project, wrangle everyone): -The podcast’s purpose, audience, and positioning -Episode format, structure, and cadence -Guest strategy and starter list -Content themes and episode topics -Technical tools, equipment, and recording setup -Internal workflow from recording to publishing -Launch plan and early success metrics -Marketing and advertising approach -Reporting so actionable insights can be gathered and responded to -Systematize steps to make it easy to maintain podcast long term If that goes well, we’ll retain you to execute it, and then consider expanding your role.
