Consulting firm needing n8n AI workflow automation contractor I am an experienced non-technical agency owner who has built an Inc 5000 digital marketing & SaaS agency, and have had two successful exits. I have been focusing on growth consulting for the last few years, and I’m seeing similar transformational patterns happening like they were 25 years ago. In 2000, my work was covered in the New York Times for my work in paid search, as I love these times of innovation and transformation, just as was happening in marketing in the late 90s through 2010. In my consulting work now, opportunities for AI automation are becoming apparent, and I’m going to shift my focus to where I can make the biggest impact for my clients. As a result, I need to get some help with n8n AI workflow automation on the technical/dev side. I need someone to add to my bench, to focus on the AI automation building while I focus on sales, marketing, and consulting. I have one technical dev who is experienced in n8n but has a full-time job and only has a few hours a week to provide some high-level support right now. We are looking for a skilled automation expert to help build automation workflows for our clients. The first work will be setting up a new n8n instance and building out a few workflow automations for our own marketing and sales efforts. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for ongoing work if the initial few internal and external projects go well. The company, Magpie Solutions, is creating an AI Automation Agency brand separate from the consulting business, and that will be pushed live once we have some internal systems working and momentum with these services. We need a reliable, detail-oriented automation teammate who can handle these projects in a white-label environment, meaning that all work will be delivered under our company’s branding. If you're experienced with n8n (Make/Zapier a bonus, but not primary focus), API integrations, javascript, json, webhooks, and automation tools, as well as have some basic coding experience that becomes helpful in problem solving, AND you are looking to build some consistent freelance work, this opportunity is for you. What You’ll Be Doing: Building automation workflows using n8n (and possibly Make/Zapier), with custom APIs integrating common business tools (Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Slack, HubSpot, Monday.com, etc.) Customizing automation logic (conditional workflows, multi-step automations, data formatting) Troubleshooting & optimizing existing automations. - this will most likely create a recurring revenue stream as these are never “done”. Documenting workflows and all necessary technical specs for internal reference Delivering high-quality white-label automation solutions as a freelance contractor What We’re Looking For: A contractor who wants to be a good teammate with us as we grow. Project Details & Next Steps: Project Type: Contractor building n8n workflow automations for an agency and the agency’s clients. Initial Scope: Set up initial n8n instance on n8n cloud, and building foundation to scale out future work. Then build out two to three AI workflow automations to be used internally for growth, and most likely used as templates for future client use. These initial automated workflows would include automated social media content creation and distribution, an automated lead gen, contact enrichment and personalized email delivery solution, and an automated AI Voice Receptionist & Scheduler. (Several templates are available and we can collaborate on which to use) This description is brief for brevity sake - Before any work begins, detailed scope and specifications documentation would be done and agreed upon.
