Microsoft Administrator (As-Needed) ENTRA & Intune Specialist About the Role We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Administrator to join our team on an as-needed basis to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Microsoft Intune. This position is ideal for a technical professional with deep expertise in Microsoft's cloud identity and device management platforms who can quickly diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Key Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Microsoft Entra ID authentication and authorization issues • Diagnose and fix Microsoft Intune device enrollment, policy application, and compliance problems • Assist with conditional access policy configuration and troubleshooting • Provide guidance on security best practices for cloud identity and device management • Implement solutions for single sign-on (SSO) integration challenges • Resolve synchronization issues between on-premises Active Directory and Entra ID • Support mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) through Intune • Document resolution steps and maintain knowledge base for common issues Qualifications • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration • 2+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Intune • Strong understanding of modern authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OIDC) • Experience with hybrid identity configurations and synchronization • Knowledge of conditional access policies and zero trust security principles • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin center and associated management tools • Experience with PowerShell automation for Microsoft cloud services • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Technical Skills • Microsoft Entra ID tenant management and configuration • Microsoft Intune device enrollment and policy management • Conditional Access policy design and troubleshooting • Azure AD Connect and synchronization troubleshooting • PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk operations • Microsoft Graph API knowledge for custom solutions • Experience with Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS device management • Understanding of modern endpoint security concepts Availability Requirements • Ability to respond to urgent issues within agreed SLA timeframes • Flexible availability for scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in diagnosing complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
