We are seeking a skilled and creative videographer to help us capture a variety of dynamic video content during a two-day company event in Oakland. This includes sit-down interviews, rapid-fire Q&As, b-roll, and coverage of a social evening event. Think WIRED-style interviews, 'Hot Ones' energy, and plenty of candid moments! Filming will take place inside our office and potentially one nearby outdoor location. The ideal partner is someone experienced in capturing multiple content styles, able to deliver high-quality raw footage, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Capture a Range of Interview Styles: - Film sit-down interviews (WIRED-style) with clear, professional audio and well-lit settings. - Record a “Hot Ones”-style interview format (conversational, visually engaging). - Film short-form interview snippets and rapid-fire Q&A during our evening cocktail event. - Note: Our team will conduct all interviews; directing or prompting talent is not required but appreciated if you're comfortable with it. Event & B-Roll Coverage: - Capture high-quality b-roll throughout both days, including behind-the-scenes, office activity, and contextual footage to enhance post-production. - Film our social evening event, including candid footage and brief guest interactions. Audio/Visual Quality: - Ensure clear, professional audio (lapel or shotgun mics preferred). - Use lighting and framing suited for YouTube-style content. - Provide footage from multiple angles when applicable. Project Requirements - Experience filming interviews and live events. - Ability to manage different shooting environments (indoor and outdoor). - Access to your own professional video/audio equipment (camera, tripod, lighting, lapel mics, etc.). Must be available onsite in Oakland, CA. Event Details Dates & Times: - June 11: 9:30am–3:00pm and 5:30pm–8:00pm - June 12: 9:00am–4:00pm Location: Oakland, CA (office space + potential outdoor shoot) Lunch will be provided on both days. Deliverables - All raw footage: high-quality video and audio files. - Extensive b-roll to complement future edits. - Organized and clearly labeled file handoff for post-production. Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Preferred) - Video editing experience – Applicants with editing capabilities will be prioritized for post-production opportunities.
