Event Sales Coordinator Needed

Do you enjoy working independently? Are you a motivated salesperson? As the Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for sales and outreach at one of our market stands. Duties include arriving early to the site for booth setup, handing out free samples, interacting with and selling to potential customers, and achieving sales objectives. Objectives: Attend pre-event meetings and pick up all equipment needed Drive to farmers markets and assist with set up/tear down of vendor booth Mingle with customers and hand out samples Communicate sales pitch effectively and collect payment Maintain relationships with market organizers and find potential market leads Report to the Market Event Manager about day-to-day operations Contact Details: Location: You’ll be able to choose from any of these events to work at for the season Westside Flea - 6 hour event Shaker Hts Farmers Market - 4 hour event Tremont Farmers Market - 4 hour event University Hospital Farmers Market - 4 hour event Cleveland Clinic Main Campus North Union - 4 hour event Mentor Farmers Market - 5 hour event Kamm’s Corner Farmers Market - 4 hour event Cuyahoga County Fair - WEEK LONG event Frequency: Weekly for the duration of the event season Pay: $15-$17/hr Timeline: Contracts vary, average 5 months Desired Qualifications: Motivated by sales and thrives in customer-facing roles Organized individual with a positive attitude Sales experience in consumer goods Required Qualifications: Must have a driver’s license and a reliable car to drive to farmers' markets in Northeast Ohio 1 year of sales experience High school diploma or GED equivalent Able to lift up to 50lbs Ability to think critically and solve problems independently Instinctive ability to lead others
