Unlock your paralegal super-powers at our progressive and --- dare we say, tech-savvy --- 5-star-rated Family Law practice. Our tri-state MD/DC/VA practice is growing, and so is the Divorce rate, so we are looking for two (2) "right-hand man" / "go-to-girl" Paralegals, to join our team part-time for a 3-month probationary period over the summer, that could become a long-term position of more than 6 months. WHO YOU ARE are matters to us, because we are a tight-knit family. The ideal candidates WILL BEE: ~ fiercely loyal (i.e. your friends can always count on you), ~ an optimist (because "can-do" attitudes rule!), ~ heart-centered (i.e. lead each day with warmth and empathy), ~ detail-oriented (i.e. did you notice the misspelled word above?) AND WILL ALSO HAVE: ~ reliable internet every day, ~ engaging legal writing, discovery, and customer-relations skills, ~ a strong knowledge of family law. Additionally, experience with legal research, divorce, and life-coaching would be a great asset to our team. As a Paralegal, you will be "the online office", responsible for responding to client messages (preferably within 1 hour), assisting our attorneys with case management, drafting legal documents, occasionally conducting legal research, and ALWAYS providing exceptional client service. You will also be managing the calendar and expected to work closely with our team to ensure that all deadlines are met, and all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
