About GolfRx: GolfRx is a first-of-its-kind wellness platform that helps people reset emotionally — not with a clipboard, but with a tee time. We blend evidence-based mental health care with structured golf-based therapeutic activities to treat anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout in a way that feels empowering and sustainable. Clients complete our self-paced GolfRx program through a digital portal and are overseen by licensed therapists who bill insurance and provide light-touch check-ins. The model is designed to be fun, effective, and reimbursable. We’re now seeking a *founding clinician* to help build the clinical infrastructure and lead the training of therapists who will deliver the program at scale. About the Role: This is a contract role in the early build phase, with the opportunity for a long-term equity position based on milestone contributions. You'll work closely with the founder to design and implement the GolfRx clinical model, oversee its rollout, and lead therapist onboarding systems. This is a rare opportunity to become a core part of an innovative wellness brand — and help shape something truly different in the mental health space. Responsibilities: * Develop the GolfRx core 12-week clinical protocol (self-guided + monthly therapist check-ins) * Create documentation templates and treatment workflows aligned with insurance billing standards * Design and deliver a scalable therapist onboarding and training program (including how-to videos, clinical SOPs, outcome tracking expectations) * Build the **interviewing and qualification process** for contracted therapists across states * Define diagnostic inclusion criteria and contraindications * Guide creation of client-facing educational materials related to clinical care * Consult on portal integration for therapy-related components and outcome tracking * Maintain compliance standards and clinical integrity as the program scales nationally Who You Are: * A fully licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, etc.) with at least 5 years post-licensure * Experienced in designing mental health programs, onboarding clinicians, or building training systems * Familiar with insurance billing requirements and outcome measurement tools (e.g., GAD-7, PHQ-9) * Comfortable prescribing movement-based wellness interventions as part of a treatment plan * Excited to build something new, flexible, and impactful from the ground up * Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and outcomes-focused What We Offer: * Contract-based compensation for the program development phase * A meaningful equity position, structured around clear performance milestones (e.g., protocol design, therapist onboarding, clinical revenue benchmarks) * Flexible work hours, fully remote * Direct influence over the future of a wellness brand with 7–8 figure potential * The opportunity to be the **clinical face** of a national movement-based mental health program This role is likely not a fit if: * You want a traditional 40-hour clinical role with weekly therapy sessions * You’re not interested in building systems or leading other therapists * You’re hesitant to work in a startup environment with flexible structure To Apply: Submit your resume and a brief note answering: 1. Why are you excited about GolfRx? 2. What relevant experience would you bring as a founding clinical leader? 3. What do you believe is the key to onboarding therapists successfully in this type of model? Let’s build something bold, wellness-focused, and deeply effective — together.
