Flutter Mobile App Developer – Firebase Integration & Architecture Setup

CoVolta is seeking a Flutter developer to establish the foundation for a cross-platform mobile app. This is a one-time contract focused on creating a clean architecture, setting up Riverpod-based state management. This is initial setup for a demonstration app that we will expand upon at a later date. SCOPE OF WORK: • Set up a well-structured Flutter project, compatible with VS Code and Android Studio • Build 2–3 basic dashboard-style screens based on sketches we provide • Include static UI components such as: -A circular battery charge indicator -An energy flow diagram showing grid → battery → load -Simulated values for these elements, coded as variables so they can later be updated with real data (not hardcoded strings) • Add just one working toggle switch connected to our Firebase Realtime Database to confirm cloud connectivity • Organize the codebase with clearly separated folders (e.g., screens/, widgets/, services/) • Use Riverpod for state management and structure CONTEXT (not in scope for this job): The full app will later include: • Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication with hardware • Firebase Authentication • Billing and payment functions • Animations and real-time interactivity • Deployment to iOS and Android You are not responsible for implementing any of these features, but the project should be structured to allow their addition without major refactoring. WE WILL PROVIDE: • Basic UI sketches and screen layout expectations • Firebase configuration files and database path • Color palette and basic design notes EXPECTATIONS • Use placeholder variables for all display values (e.g., battery charge), so they can be connected to live data in the future • No animations or styling polish required; focus is on structure and maintainability • One round of revision after delivery (within scope only) • Brief support to ensure we can open, build, and run the app in VS Code and Android Studio on our end TO APPLY: Please include: • Examples of past Flutter projects (Screenshots, GitHub, published apps, etc.) • Any suggestions or concerns based on the description above
