We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Solutions Architect to join our team. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to C-Level executives and IS leadership, designing and implementing advanced IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, and VDI solutions across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong balance of technical expertise, operational leadership, and a consultative mindset focused on increasing operational efficiency and reducing business disruption. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic guidance on IT infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives. Design and implement scalable enterprise infrastructure solutions across networking, server environments, security, Azure cloud, O365, VDI (Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, Citrix), and hyper-converged systems. Lead end-to-end migration projects, including domain consolidations, Office 365 migrations, hybrid cloud deployments, and infrastructure upgrades. Architect and deploy VDI environments that support large-scale remote workforce initiatives, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and operational autonomy. Implement advanced networking solutions, including NSX and network virtualization initiatives, supporting hybrid cloud and software-defined data center strategies. Conduct discovery, assessment, and planning workshops with client stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and execute detailed migration and transformation plans with minimal to zero downtime or user disruption. Provide mentorship, knowledge transfer, and technical leadership to internal teams and client technical staff. Stay current with Microsoft, VMware, Azure, and other technology partner roadmaps to advise on best practices and future-proofing strategies. Lead operational efficiency initiatives, identifying areas for improvement in IT environments to optimize performance, resilience, and cost-effectiveness. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN IT MSP IS MANDATORY 10+ years of hands-on IT experience across systems, networks, cloud, and security disciplines. Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Senior Engineer supporting C-Level and Senior IS leadership. Expertise in enterprise networking (firewalls, switches, routing, SDN), server administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP). Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Active Directory domain migrations, and cloud transformation strategies. Strong hands-on experience with VDI technologies: Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, and Citrix. Experience implementing hyper-converged infrastructure (e.g., Nutanix, VMware vSAN). Significant experience with domain migrations and O365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, including user profile preservation and zero-downtime strategies. Demonstrated leadership in executing large-scale IT transformation projects for mid-sized to Fortune 500 organizations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management and documentation skills.
