About Us: ORI Community and Evaluation Services is a nonprofit based in Eugene, Oregon, currently managing our payroll in-house using QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. As we're expanding our operations to Pennsylvania under the same EIN, we will be hiring employees in the state. Job Description: We are seeking a qualified consultant with experience in nonprofit payroll management and multi-state compliance to provide advisory services in the following areas: 1. Training: Offer training to our team on setting up multi-state payroll in QuickBooks Desktop for Pennsylvania employees. 2. Configuration: Identify and guide us in configuring applicable state and local payroll taxes (e.g., PA withholding, Local Services Tax, PSD codes) within QuickBooks. 3. Compliance Guidance: Advise us on compliance requirements for quarterly and annual filings (e.g., PA-W3, UC-2) and payment workflows for Pennsylvania agencies. 4. Business Setup: Assist in understanding the process to set up our business structure in Philadelphia while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Important Note: We are only seeking advisory services and do not require assistance with the actual payroll processing. Qualifications: - Proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, especially in multi-state payroll management. - Familiarity with payroll taxes and compliance for Pennsylvania. - Experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus. - Strong communication skills and the ability to train and guide team members effectively.
