We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant & Preparer to join our team in a temporary part-time role, with the potential for full-time employment. This position can be on-site or remote, depending on experience. Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Preparer (CPA, EA, or AFSP preferred) with a strong background in business and personal tax preparation. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Intuit ProConnect, Intuit Lacerte, and Canopy Tax CRM. Key Responsibilities: Assist firm by prepare business and personal tax returns including 1120, 1120S, 1065, Schedule C, Schedule E, and 1040. Roughly 30 business returns and 100 personal returns Utilize Intuit ProConnect, Intuit Lacerte, and Canopy Tax CRM for tax preparation and client management Ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws Requirements: Local candidates preferred but remote considered based on experience PTIN required Minimum 2 years of experience preparing business and personal tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, Schedule C, Schedule E, and 1040) CPA, EA, or AFSP preferred but not required Strong working knowledge of Intuit ProConnect, Intuit Lacerte, and Canopy Tax CRM Experience resolving tax matters with state revenue agencies Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work Schedule & Benefits: Temporary Part-Time (1099) for 1 to 2 Months
