Content Research Assistant (Reddit, TikTok, Twitter, IG Trends)

We’re looking for a content-savvy assistant to help us curate viral, engaging content for our podcast, Unmuted. Our show covers trending topics, outrageous opinions, real-life dilemmas, and cultural debates. Your job will be to: • Find funny, controversial, or thought-provoking posts on Reddit, X (Twitter), TikTok, and Instagram • Organize content weekly into podcast-ready segments (e.g. Reddit Reactions, “Out of Pocket” Tweets, Viral TikToks) • Provide brief context or summaries for each post so our hosts can react easily • Suggest 3–5 new topic ideas weekly based on what’s trending online • Stay plugged into social media culture, Black Twitter, meme pages, etc. Ideal candidate: • Loves pop culture, wild takes, and internet trends • Understands pacing and tone for a reaction-style podcast • Follows podcast pages like ShxtsNGigs, Brilliant Idiots, 8 at the Table, Flagrant, etc. • Bonus: Experience working with Notion, Google Drive, or Trello To apply, tell us your favorite viral post from the last week and why you think it would spark a great conversation.
