PR Person Needed

Hi guys. I recently won a government contract to do PR services and social media. I’ll be handling the graphics and social media side, but I need help with the PR work. I'm looking for two PR pros to join me on this project — ideally: A PR Manager who can also act as the project lead and help coordinate deliverables, timelines, and overall media strategy. A PR Specialist who will work closely with the manager to develop content, brainstorm messaging, and help execute. You don’t need to do any graphic design or social media management — that’s already covered. But you will be expected to help shape the message, build out materials like stakeholder toolkits, fact sheets, press releases, and copy for speeches or talking points. We’ll also need to create an earned media calendar, pitch angles, and press outreach strategies — so experience securing media coverage is a big plus. The client is a government agency, so bonus points if you: Have worked on campaigns, with political orgs, elected officials, or public institutions Have a network in the political/media space Understand how to tailor messages for public engagement, transparency, and press coverage What I need from you: 1) Your monthly rate or retainer pricing 2) 2-3 past performance examples, ideally including: Project/client name Reference name, email, and number (if available) Contract value (if you can share) A quick summary of what you did/ your achievements. 3) A short note on why you're a good fit for this — especially for government/PR work 4) Your Resume Let me know if you're applying for the PR Manager, PR Specialist, or open to both roles This is a 1 year contract, and we’ll be expected to deliver a mix of: 1) Written content (up to 30 hours/month) 2) Thought leadership materials 3) Backgrounders and Q&As 4) Stakeholder toolkits 5) Press materials 6) Earned media calendar 7) Crisis communications and rapid response support if needed 8) One major 130-page annual report due in January of 2026 The work will be collaborative, deadline-driven, and political-adjacent — so if you’ve got the experience and energy, I’d love to hear from you.
