Now, we’re looking for a creative Instagram content creator to help us grow, engage, and convert our Instagram audience into active participants. Role Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Instagram-first content creator who understands how to build and activate a brand in the tech and AI space. You’ll be responsible for crafting scroll-stopping content, optimizing performance through analytics, and turning engagement into measurable growth. Bonus points if you’re comfortable using AI tools to scale creativity. Key Responsibilities: Instagram-First Content Creation: Plan, design, and publish Instagram Reels, stories, carousels, and posts that promote ODSC’s events, speakers, and mission. Tailor content to developers, data scientists, and tech professionals. Use AI Tools to Boost Output & Quality: Leverage generative AI, image editing tools, and scheduling platforms to create content efficiently and effectively. Community Engagement: Actively respond to comments, DMs, tags, and mentions to nurture relationships and build community. Conversion Strategy: Drive followers to sign up for our events and conferences using clear CTAs, link-in-bio tools, and creative funnels. Analytics & Iteration: Track post performance, engagement trends, and follower growth. Report on what’s working and suggest experiments based on insights. Trend Awareness & Collaboration: Stay on top of Instagram trends, formats, and algorithm updates. Collaborate with tech influencers or community partners when possible. What We’re Looking For: Proven success managing and growing Instagram accounts, ideally in the tech, AI, or education space Strong visual design sense and ability to create high-quality assets (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, etc.) Understanding of generative AI tools and how to use them for social content Comfortable interpreting analytics and optimizing based on performance Self-motivated, organized, and up-to-date with Instagram’s best practices Experience running paid campaigns or collaborations
