Resist the Mainstream is looking to hire a Social Media Reporter to work 3 days a week on a Monday-Saturday schedule, with likely about 6-7 hours of time needed to spend posting per day. The job primarily revolves around posting about news and cultural content in the right-wing political world in order to grow our outlet’s X account, along with other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with social media posting as well as editorial work (writing news stories, fact-checking, etc.) Required metrics: We need to have 5 million impressions (views) a day 85+ tweets should be made each day If you’re interested, please send us a short (no longer than a paragraph) introduction of yourself detailing your experience and why you are a good fit for the job, with your name followed by the position title in the email subject line.
