Divi-Developer (Hourly)

$40.00
Hourly: $40.00 - $75.00

Hey there — I’m looking for a solid Divi developer to jump in on a project-to-project basis with us at The Montgomery Group. I’ll be upfront: I’m a Divi pro myself. I’ve been building sites in it for years, and I know what clean work looks like and how quickly things should get done. The issue is… I just don’t have the bandwidth anymore. We’re growing fast and I need someone dependable who can take builds off my plate and do it right the first time. Here’s how it would usually go: I’ll consult with the client, get a feel for the vision, then record a Loom with a clear walkthrough of the site structure and expectations. I’ll ask you to build it out using placeholder content (lorem ipsum is fine at the start). I’ll typically pop in to drop in content for the first couple rounds, but eventually, I’d like to just send you everything and let you run with it. This isn’t a huge agency machine where you’ll get lost in ticket requests. You’ll work directly with me on most projects. You’ll get clear direction. And when we do good work, I make sure people get paid well and appreciated. You'll have access to any Divi upgrades you'd need to make the job easier. What I need you to be good at: - Building WordPress sites using Divi (not hacking together pages — actually building things clean) - Making sure the site looks right on desktop and mobile - Working from Loom videos and Trello cards without needing hand-holding - Knowing when something feels off visually and fixing it without being asked - Keeping me in the loop if something isn’t clear — I’d rather clarify than redo Tech & Tools: - Divi (obviously) - WordPress (pretty standard installs) - Trello for task tracking - Google Drive for content - Loom for walk-throughs Who this is not for: If you rely on drag-and-drop guesswork, or if responsiveness is an afterthought — this probably isn’t a fit. I care about the craft. I don’t expect perfection, but I expect pride in your work. Who this is for: Someone who’s fast, clean, honest, and communicates well. You don’t need to be full-time — just consistent and accountable. You don’t have to be a branding wizard — just know how to translate direction into something that looks pro and works. About us: We’re a small but growing digital agency out of Tulsa, OK. Been around 11 years. Have over 100 clients right now and still growing. We focus on doing great work with good people. We work with nonprofits, restaurant groups, health orgs, startups — all kinds of people trying to do good things. I’m Dominick. I run the place. And I’m writing this because I really am looking for the right person. Not just another freelancer. I want someone who’s down to build cool stuff with us and stick around for more projects if the fit is right. If this sounds like something you’re into, I’d love to hear from you.
