Seeking a skilled, diligent professional with strong communication skills and commitment to frequent, clear communication. Aviation enthusiasts are especially encouraged to inquire! I want to hire you to create an n8n automation that sends subscribed users (flight school students and instructors) a daily email with: 1. Their personal flight schedule for the following day. 2. A study guide for the event(s) they are scheduled for. The flight schedules are posted at predictable URLs sometime the evening prior to the scheduled day. These URLs can be built by aggregating the user's training wing, squadron, and the date into the appropriate format for the schedule URL in question. (This functionality has already been created in the n8n project.) I have a living google sheet that contains the names, email addresses, training wing, training squadron, and enrolled syllabus for a list of pilots in a flight training program. I also have curriculum guides (pdfs) for each syllabus that provide the information for a basic study guide. Our automation should begin scanning, at one minute intervals, for the posted schedule .pdf for each user listed in the google sheet starting at 1400 CST on a daily basis. It should continue scanning until 2359 CST until it detects that the .pdf has been posted. (If never detected, an email notifying the user should be sent.) Once the schedule is posted, the automation should: 1. Search the associated pdf for the user's last name. 2. Extract every flight and simulator line of the schedule that contains the user's name (there may be multiple). 3. Analyze each segment for a syllabus event code in their syllabus. 4. Extract, from a provided document, the section of text (syllabus outline) that pertains to that event or events (LLM /knowledge base integration may be the best approach). 5. Aggregate the flight schedule information and study guide(s) into a professional email. 6. Email the user their personalized schedule and study guide(s) to the email address on file in the living google sheet with their name. (via Resend) Background: A user may only add themselves to the google sheet after accessing a paywall on another application, so authentication is not an issue. I have started an n8n project for this task and successfully linked the google sheet already. When the time comes, I will provide a form of the Master Curriculum guides for each syllabus in a google drive. I have the ability to parse these into LLM friendly word docs/google docs if required. For this project, I will add you as an editor to the existing n8n project via their invite/sharing functionality. I will provide: -n8n project workflow space (shared, aforementioned google sheet linked) -Resend SMTP configuration data -Amplifying information on product design and workflow design, to include proposed code snippets if desired. -Subject Matter Expert support on understanding the flight related products and creating an email format that will be valuable to the end user. Deliverables: 1. A fully functional, automated, n8n workflow that automatically runs daily. 2. An understandable "README" on how to make updates or troubleshoot the project in the future. I am open to negotiations on compensation as well as to ideas for additional functionality!
