BLUECHALK DESIGN LLC, Hawaii is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented interior design assistant to help manage a growing workload on a larger residential project. This is an architectural and interior design studio based in Hawaii and need reliable remote support from someone who is highly organized, communicative, and comfortable juggling both procurement and design documentation tasks. Top Priorities Right Now: Procurement support using Houzz Pro and Google Sheets Tracking FF&E orders, making U.S. vendor calls, confirming lead times, sending updates, and messaging suppliers regularly Attention to detail and accuracy are non-negotiable — this role requires a meticulous eye Helping me keep things moving by following up with vendors and coordinating trades via email Next Most Needed: Drafting interior floorplans and elevations based on existing plans and hand-drawn field measurements Tidying drawings and assisting with formatted design documents or presentation layouts Rendering ability is a plus, especially if you can produce quick visuals for client review Bonus Skills: Familiarity with Rhino 3D Experience in high-end residential design projects Some availability during Hawaii Standard Time (HST) hours This is a remote position with flexible hours, but I need someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and excellent at follow-through.
