Draft building permit plans for our 105sqft addition in Glendora, CA. The plans should include detailed structural floor plans, foundation designs, and electrical layouts to meet local building regulations. GENERAL 1. Final drawings and calculations shall be digitally stamped and signed by the Registered Design Professional and shall include the date of signing below the stamp. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS 1. Final Plans: The designer’s signature is required on all sheets. Please make sure that all the sheets in the set correspond with the SHEET INDEX and that all notes/detail references are correct & applicable. 2. On the Title Sheet, please indicate: Whether the structure is located in FHSZ/WUI or not (provide documents). 3. Sheet 1: Show project address. Indicate Occupancy group: U Indicate Type of construction: V-B. Indicate square footage of the storage. Show name address, and phone number of the designer who prepares the plan. 4. Site plan shows the storage is 3.5 feet from the property line. The exterior wall within 5 feet of property line must have 1-hour fire rated construction. Provide details of 1-hour fire rated exterior walls such as stucco on exterior side and 5/8” type X gyp board in the interior side. 5. Floor plan: Show door swing. Show landing at each exterior door. Show landing dimensions and change in elevation between top of threshold and the landing. Show reference lines to cross sectional view of the storage. 6. Provide full height cross sectional view of the storage showing framing, plate heights, total heights, ceiling height and finish material, wall/floor/roof insulation, interior wall height/termination at roof/floor, foundation type, finish grade, floor finish material, etc. 7. Provide elevation views on all 3 sides of the storage showing wall/roof height, wall/roof exterior finish, details of finish materials, separation between ground and finish materials, and location of the door opening. 8. Wall construction: Show wall sheathing grade such as sheathing grade or Struct I grade, thickness, PI number, and nailing including nail size, spacing and nail type (Common nail?). 9. Provide foundation plan to show: Type and size of footing supporting the storage. If new footing is provided, show concrete strength and steel reinforcement. Show connection details of anchor bolts for attachment of sill plate to footing. Provide note: Sill plates shall be pressure treated. Provide note on foundation plan: Fasteners (anchor bolts) including nuts and washers in contact with preservative-treated or for fire-retardant treated wood shall be hot dipped zinc-coated galvanized steel, stainless steel, silicon bronze or copper. 10. All receptacles in the storage shall have ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) protection. Show on the plans.
