Work from home with Peace of Mind, Private Membership Association (POM)! We are a small financial solutions company and are looking for a part-time, remote legal writer/customer service rep. Job responsibilities include drafting business and legal documents (foreclosure, taxes, finance, consumer rights a plus) based on facts and information provided, client relations/customer service and other administrative related tasks. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: • Paralegal, litigation or clerkship experience a plus • Strong analytical and writing skills for effective legal drafting • An ability to write clearly, effectively, and persuasively • Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with careful attention to detail and deadlines • A collaborative and collegial approach to work, and an ability and desire to work and learn in a team-based environment • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Good interpersonal skills, ability to coherently communicate verbally and in writing • Adaptability to keep up in a fast moving, dynamic workplace • Understand and utilize POM systems – Genie, email, online resources • Communicate with team members and clients via email, company’s online portal system and Zoom • Be a self-starter • Results oriented • Honest, dependable and trustworthy Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive legal research • Draft legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards • Assist in organizing case files and reviewing documents for relevance • Provide customer service with clients • Other related admin/role specific activities
