Job Title: Summer Research Law Analyst – State Training Regulations Employment Type: Full-Time Temporary (2 Months) Location: Remote Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or project stipend (based on experience) Overview: We’re looking for a meticulous and hard-working college student, L1 law student, or recent graduate to join our team for a two-month summer role focused on mapping state-specific regulations related to workforce training requirements in healthcare. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves research, is highly organized, and wants to contribute to a mission-driven tech startup working to upskill America’s workforce. What You’ll Do: • Research training and certification requirements for specific healthcare roles (e.g., CNAs, LPNs, caregivers) across all 50 U.S. states • Document required training hours and types of courses by role as well as state regulatory agency testing and competency checklist requirements • Create a standardized database or spreadsheet to summarize findings • Cross-reference findings with existing training programs to identify compliance gaps or alignment • Work closely with our compliance and product teams to validate and finalize the regulatory mappings • Track any ambiguities or inconsistencies in state documentation and propose a method to resolve them Ideal Candidate: • Law L1 or highly driven college student or recent graduate with strong research, organization, and reading/writing skills • Detail-oriented and able to work independently without needing to be micromanaged • Interested in law, public health, policy, healthcare, or education (though not required) • Strong Google Sheets skills; bonus if you’ve done legal or regulatory research before • Reliable, responsive, and motivated to contribute to a fast-paced startup environment Why This Role Is Great for You: • Flexible remote schedule with clear deliverables • You’ll gain experience working with regulatory frameworks and compliance tools • You’ll work directly with senior team members at a fast-growing startup • You’ll help create something that makes a real impact on workers and their careers
