I am a physician-entrepreneur with multiple ventures, including a neuroscience research institute (currently in its academic/research phase) and an active hemp processing company registered as an LLC. I am seeking a smart, reliable, and resourceful Virtual Assistant with business research and coordination skills to help advance the setup of the hemp processing facility. This includes researching rental/purchase options for industrial space, coordinating equipment sourcing, and exploring state or federal incentives relevant to hemp or green manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Research and shortlist commercial/industrial real estate options for hemp facility setup (rental or purchase) Coordinate with local agents, zoning authorities, or suppliers Research and summarize incentives, grants, or tax credits (federal, state-level—esp. agriculture, renewable manufacturing) Track project timelines and maintain organized documentation Optional: Assist with creating pitch decks, grant drafts, or vendor communications Not required at this stage: Any active involvement with the neuroscience institute (this may come later) Ideal Candidate: Business-savvy and organized, with strong research & communication skills Familiar with startups, hemp, agriculture, or sustainable manufacturing (big plus) Comfortable with outreach (email/call agents, vendors) Responds within 24 hours and stay in touch over phone or text Experience with milanotes or Google Workspace a plus Hours & Budget: ~10–20 hours/month initially (flexible) $20–30/hour based on experience and initiative Long-term role with growth as operations expand Please share: Relevant experience (esp. in hemp, real estate, or operations) Tools you use Your timezone and availability
