Founded by bestselling author and book editor Kelly Notaras, our small but mighty team supports a passionate audience of aspiring and established authors. We’re expanding our marketing efforts and looking for a creative, detail-loving, proactive teammate to help us make a bigger impact—while keeping things beautifully on-brand. What You’ll Be Doing: Weekly Newsletter Management: Light editing, formatting, and scheduling of a short-form newsletter (usually built in ConvertKit or similar), in Kelly’s voice and aesthetic. Social Media Repurposing: Create and schedule 3–5 posts per week across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube based on newsletter content. Short-Form Video Oversight: Coordinate video editors (and occasionally post videos yourself) for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Content is pre-scripted and created by Kelly. Basic Canva Design: Light graphics work (quotes, thumbnails, IG carousels, etc.). You must be proficient in Canva and have a portfolio that shows off your design style. Basic Website Admin: Update KellyNotaras.com as needed including adding blog posts, landing pages, etc. via Wordpress Light OBM Tasks: Project tracking, deadlines, and managing small marketing to-dos. Must be self-directed and enjoy solving mini puzzles. Other Duties as Assigned This Might Be Perfect for You If You… Have 2–5 years experience in marketing, digital content management, or OBM work with small businesses or personal brands Love keeping things organized, moving, and beautiful Are a natural editor and communicator, with a sharp eye for tone and detail Know how to follow a brand aesthetic—and have the Canva chops to show for it Are flexible, responsive, and solution-oriented (you love a good problem to solve!) Can hold 5–10 hours a week (sometimes fewer) with availability to respond to occasional requests within 24 hours Are based in the U.S., ideally within Mountain Time Nice-to-Haves (but not required): Familiarity with ConvertKit, Kartra, Wordpress, Slack, Google Suite, Basecamp Experience with short-form video editing (or managing that process) An appreciation for writing, creativity, mindfulness, and personal development
