Experienced Video Editor for Cinematic Music Films

We're looking for a film-minded video editor to craft two emotionally-driven, A24-style behind-the-scenes videos. These videos will intercut between raw footage, performance video, and a voiceover interview that explores the deeper meaning behind one of our songs. Project Scope: -2 videos, each approx. 6 minutes Footage provided: -Cinematic 4K behind-the-scenes and performance shots -Studio-recorded voiceover interview -Performance audio from the song Deliverables: -2x cinematic narrative edits -Final exports for YouTube/Patreon What You’ll Do: -Build emotionally resonant edits that feel like mini Netflix doc episodes -Weave together interview VO, live audio, and cinematic visuals with precision -Grade with a filmic, soft, moody aesthetic (think muted A24 tones) -Avoid fast pacing or digital polish—let the story breathe -Sync narrative arcs to the pacing and emotional flow of the song You’re a Fit If You: -Edit like a filmmaker—your reel looks more like cinema than content -Understand how to build around voiceover and music -Have experience with narrative or music storytelling edits -Work in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro (Resolve preferredd) -Deliver polished drafts, take clear direction, and communicate professionally We Provide: -All raw footage in 4K -Voice Over + performance audio -Creative direction, story structure, and pacing guides -References and tone expectations To Apply: -Submit the following: -Your most cinematic narrative or music-based edits (no promo cuts) -Editing software used -Estimated turnaround time for one 6-minute video -Flat rate quote for the full 2-video package Confidentiality: All selected candidates must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before accessing any footage, voiceovers, or project materials.
