FDV — emerging premium womenswear brand based in New York — is looking for an experienced freelance fashion designer to collaborate on a capsule collection for Spring–Summer 2026. We’re seeking a creative yet technically skilled partner who understands the nuances of the luxury market and can help bring emotionally resonant, trend-aligned designs to life. Scope of Work: Develop 9-12 capsule designs: dresses, structured tops, skirts, suits Silhouettes inspired by sculptural cuts Use eco-friendly materials and conceptual storytelling Create detailed technical packages for production (including specifications, flat patterns, and material specifications) Provide mood boards, sketches, and fabric suggestions Collaborate with designers and factories (preferably remotely or in New York) Ideal Candidate: Experience in premium / contemporary womenswear Strong grasp of 2026 trend forecasts, silhouettes, and color theory Proficient in Clo3D, Illustrator, Photoshop Understanding of eco-conscious fabrics and responsible production Based in New York, Russian-speaking is a plus Project Format & Budget: Freelance / Part-time Estimated duration: 4 weeks, starting May 2025 Open to hourly or fixed rate, depending on experience Portfolio required To Apply: Please include: Portfolio of recent womenswear designs 1–2 tech pack samples (PDF or screenshots) Brief intro about your vision for fashion in 2026 Your availability in May - June 2025
