I'm a software engineer with a passion for travel, and I’m looking for a reliable virtual assistant who can help keep my working machines online and provide light technical assistance when needed. This is a low-frequency support role — perfect for someone with a stable internet connection and basic technical know-how. Responsibilities: Ensure stable Wi-Fi/internet connectivity for my remote development environments or machines (through remote desktop, or physical device access depending on setup). Be available for occasional check-ins or light troubleshooting, such as restarting a machine or confirming a process is running. Notify me promptly of any connectivity or access issues. Requirements: Must live in United States Reliable and high-speed internet connection. Basic understanding of remote desktop tools. Availability for on-call or as-needed support (not daily; only when issues arise). Good communication skills and responsiveness. Nice to Have: Experience supporting software engineers or remote teams. Time Commitment: Very minimal ongoing hours. Most weeks may have no activity.
