Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled video editor to create top-down swing comparison videos for our softball training program. The editor will develop professional-quality before-and-after comparison videos, featuring text-based analysis and animated highlights to emphasize key improvements. In addition to the first edited video, we need a custom, reusable template that allows us to easily edit future videos. This project has the potential to expand into more complex comparisons, including professional swing overlays. The ideal candidate has experience in: - Sports video editing (baseball/softball preferred) - Template creation (so we can edit future videos ourselves) - Motion graphics & animations to highlight swing mechanics - Text-based analysis animations (no voice-over needed) - Professional-level editing for high-quality output - We will provide examples of similar videos for reference. Scope of Work & Deliverables Phase 1 (Initial Test Project): - One Before-and-After Swing Comparison Video (Top-Down View) - Editable Template that allows us to create future videos - Custom Animation Template to highlight specific swing areas Phase 2 (Future Work, if Successful): - One Before-and-After Swing Comparison + Professional Player Overlay (Three-swing comparison) - Ongoing editing and refinements for future videos Requirements: - Expertise in sports-related editing (baseball/softball a plus) - Ability to create motion-tracking and animated highlights - Experience designing editable templates for Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software - Ability to produce a clean, professional aesthetic - Strong communication and willingness to guide us in using the template Application Process: - Test Project: A paid trial to create the first before-and-after edit and template. - Communication: Must be able to explain the editing process and provide clear instructions for template use.
