Description: We’re a small, U.S.-based mobile mechanic business in need of a reliable freelance bookkeeper to help us get caught up on our 2024 financial records and provide ongoing bookkeeping support into 2025. This is a part-time, remote, freelance position with flexible hours. --- Responsibilities: Catch up and clean up books for 2024 Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Categorize transactions accurately Maintain records of income and expenses Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, etc.) Communicate regularly for status updates and any questions --- Requirements: Proven bookkeeping experience (especially with small businesses) Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or similar software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills Ability to work independently (Bonus) Experience with service-based or automotive businesses --- Project Scope: Initial catch-up for 2024 (estimate your hours/flat fee) Ongoing monthly support (hours/month negotiable)
