I am looking for help and opinions on creating a bid schedule. Currently, see the attached excel sheet. This is what we are using to track estimates we are currently bidding or have completed. I have been using google sheets, that way it can be changed with a live feed and don't have issues with multiple users having it open or accidently opening a previous version (open to other apps or ideas that would work best). Essentially I want this to be created with some automation. I found a free plugin that allows it to sort by the closest bid date (this is important). I would need to include each column that has the check boxes in some way to show progression in the bid. When a bid is complete, i would like it to disappear (which i do through manual filtering now) but also, if possible, i would like it to go to a separate sheet (see sheet labled "complete/ followup") where it would show completed bids, add the date it was completed, and sort by the most recently complete, if possible. I also included a gantt chart as an example, if possible i would like the visibilty of showing how many days it would take to complete and filling in a square under each date (ex. if project A is estimated to take 6 business days i want it to show May 5th,6th,7th,8th,9th,10th, 11th, & 12th as filled in like on a calendar to show as almost blocking off time. The color of that block would correspond to the estimator. Also would like the due date to be highlighted or outlined in some way. Looking for any suggestions or ideas to improve this or apps that would accomplish the same thing.
