Mortgage Processor - need to be licensed MLO


***Before you continue, keep in mind that you MUST be a licensed MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) throught the NMLS in order to apply Job Description: We are a locally owned mortgage brokerage based in Phoenix, Arizona, seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to support our team on a part-time, contract basis. Our company specializes in Conventional, FHA, and VA loans. We are looking for a processor who can work independently, manage multiple files, and is comfortable communicating directly with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors to ensure a smooth loan process from submission to clear-to-close. Responsibilities: Review loan files for completeness and accuracy prior to underwriting Collect and verify borrower documents, disclosures, and third-party verifications Submit files to lenders and follow up on conditions until final approval Maintain clear communication with loan officers and borrowers throughout the loan process Coordinate with title, escrow, and insurance agents as needed Ensure all documentation meets compliance and lending guidelines (Fannie Mae, FHA, VA) Update LOS Requirements: Minimum 3 years of mortgage processing experience Experience with Conventional, FHA, and VA loans Proficiency with common LOS systems (please list which ones you’re familiar with) Strong knowledge of compliance guidelines and closing timelines Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred: Experience working with wholesale lenders Familiarity with Arizona real estate and escrow processes Available to work 10–20 hours/week, with flexibility during normal business hours What We Offer: Steady, part-time workflow with potential for long-term work Flexible schedule and remote work Friendly, small-team environment with clear communication How to Apply: Please submit your resume or a brief overview of your experience.
