Small Business Logo Design

A bit about the project: I am launching my own creative company, Saint & Scroll, which will specialize in custom stationery/ paperie items, invitations, unique/ personalized gifts, etc. I’m now at the stage where I’d love to develop a distinctive logo that reflects (what I intend) the brand’s timeless, elegant, and artistic identity. I envision something that feels both refined and personal—something that resonates with the name and the spirit of my work. I originally had a very specific idea in mind, but now I need some creative direction/ input. Below/attached are a few details and some inspo: Brand Identity: Feminine, Luxurious, Timeless, Sophisticated, Creative, Thoughtful, Intentional Maximalism Deliverables needed: 1. Primary Logo 2. Alternative Logo 3. Icon Logo 4. Signature Logo 5. Submark Logo I’ve included a reference to my color palette to give you an initial feel for the direction I’m envisioning. Fonts:
I’d love to incorporate two distinct fonts within my business name: 1. Serif – I’m aiming for a classic, timeless, traditional, “heritage-esque” look that still feels bold and feminine. 2. Script – A very rounded, scroll-like, calligraphy-inspired script that feels elegant, chic, and regal while maintaining a classic sophistication. Logo Illustration: I want a hand-drawn/ vintage illustration/ ink drawing. Initially, I envisioned a sketch-style illustration of a woman’s silhouette—perhaps with a subtle halo—holding a quill pen or scroll, all within an oval frame. That said, I’m not entirely sure how well this will translate visually, so I’ve been brainstorming additional directions, although I’ve felt a bit limited creatively in refining the concept. I’ve included a few frame styles I’ve had in mind from the beginning, as well as some more ornate frames that might represent a “scroll,” but only if it didn't appear too busy. Additionally, I’ve included a couple of alternate ideas to replace the original silhouette concept: perhaps a more polished, chic sketch of a woman (think Audrey Hepburn), a Greek woman's stone bust, or even a reference to a Patron Saint—something meaningful, elegant, and iconic. I haven't hit the mark yet, so I would love your input and direction! If this sounds like a project you’d be interested in, I would truly value your thoughts and creative input. I’d love to learn more about how you typically collaborate with clients and explore whether this could be a good fit. Looking forward to hearing from you, and thank you so much in advance! Warmly, Adeline Malen
