Summary: We are a nonprofit food bank seeking an experienced Salesforce professional to lead the conversion of our remaining Salesforce applications from the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) to Nonprofit Cloud (NPC). This role is critical to ensuring a seamless transition with full functionality, and may lead to ongoing partnership opportunities for the right candidate. Detailed Job Description: As part of our ongoing technology transition, we are midway through migrating from Salesforce's NPSP to NPC. Several of our Salesforce applications have already been successfully converted, and we are now looking for a skilled Salesforce consultant or developer to complete the migration of the remaining applications. The primary goal of this contract is to fully convert these applications to NPC while maintaining — and where possible, improving — their functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce platform migrations, with specific experience in both NPSP and NPC. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the end-to-end migration of remaining Salesforce applications from NPSP to NPC. * Report directly to the Application Support Manager, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes. * Ensure all migrated applications retain or enhance existing functionality. * Design and implement layouts, workflows, automations, and data models consistent with NPC best practices. * Perform data mapping, cleansing, and migration with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. * Collaborate with our internal application support team to align on deliverables, timelines, and goals. * Document processes and train relevant staff as needed. Qualifications: * Proven experience with Salesforce application development and platform migration. * Hands-on experience with Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) and Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). * Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration including custom objects, layouts, flows, and workflow rules. * Proficiency in data migration and integration tools. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Experience working within or alongside nonprofit organizations is a plus.
