Tour: Odyssey Dance Theatre’s “Thriller” Employment Type: Hourly (plus travel expenses, room and board) or Salary (plus room and board) Location: Touring – Must be available for all scheduled performances September 8th-November 1st, 2025 Overview: Odyssey Dance Theatre is seeking a skilled and dependable Wardrobe/Stitcher/Dresser to join our renowned “Thriller” tour. This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of the nation’s most celebrated dance companies, with over 30 years of artistic excellence and 19 consecutive “Best of State” awards. As a vital member of our touring company, you’ll help bring the magic of “Thriller” to life for audiences across the country—an experience that promises excitement, creativity, and unforgettable memories. Key Responsibilities: · Attend every “Thriller” show on tour, traveling with the company to all venues. · Perform on-the-spot repairs and alterations to costumes before, during, and after performances. · Organize, maintain, and inventory all costumes and accessories for the cast. · Prepare outfits for dancers prior to each show, assisting dancers with quick changes. · Work closely with dancers, stage management, and artistic staff to address costume needs. · Assist with costume fittings and adjustments as required throughout the tour. · Assist with costume cleaning and deodorizing · Maintain a clean and organized costume area at each venue. · Manage and transport sewing supplies and equipment as needed. Requirements: · Demonstrated sewing competence, including hand and machine sewing, alterations, and basic costume construction. · Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to fast-paced backstage environments. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must work well as part of a team. · Availability for all scheduled shows and tour dates, including evenings and weekends. · Willingness to travel extensively and stay with the company for the duration of the tour.
